In just two weeks successful SMEs will share their insights into emerging opportunities in intelligent transport systems (ITS) at the INTRASME Smart Mobility Market Opportunity Workshop in Turin, Italy on the 25th September. Attendees will be kept up to date by the leading policy makers in ITS; experts will provide details on funding opportunities available to SMEs; the latest research on future trends in the transport industry and case studies of successful SMEs will be presented. The workshop will appeal to policy makers, researchers and SMEs that are keen to understand technological and commercial developments in the smart mobility supply chain.

The event will be held alongside the conference Smart Mobility World providing the opportunity to network with leading companies in the field. Smart Mobility encompasses the use of intelligent transport systems to optimise and integrate the transport system as a whole and to improve the movement of goods and people. Growth in the market is likely to be boosted by actions taken at a European and national level to reduce emissions and congestion; as well as technological advances in in-vehicle networks, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication.

Smart Mobility World is co-located with Telemobility Forum, the Infrastructures and Technologies for the Smart City (ITN) and Green Cars Forum.
